About the Fellowship
The Global Surgery Advocacy Fellowship (GSAF) is a transformative program designed to train global surgery leaders in low- and middle-income countries to become passionate, compassionate, and skilled advocates for surgical patients in their communities. This fellowship empowers global surgery leaders by providing year-round mentorship, skills building, and resources to implement a capstone advocacy project throughout the year.
Our Interventions:
We facilitated a dynamic and hands-on workshop titled "Storytelling for Advocacy" as part of the Global Surgery Advocacy Fellowship. The workshop focused on equipping participants with essential storytelling skills to enhance their advocacy projects and amplify their impact through a wide range of topics essential for modern advocacy, ensuring that participants could develop and execute effective digital campaigns.
We're excited to share that our global surgery advocacy fellows have just completed an intensive storytelling workshop!... Equipped with new resources and techniques, our fellows are now poised to develop stories that will amplify their advocacy efforts and bring attention to critical global surgery issues." - The Global Surgery Advocacy Fellowship
