About The Project

The FGM Data Hub project supports the generation and use of evidence to inform policies and programmes addressing Female Genital Mutilation. The FGM Data Hub social media strategy focused on translating complex research into accessible insights for policymakers, practitioners, and advocates across Africa. Through visual storytelling, bilingual content, and timely advocacy moments, the campaign amplified key evidence and tools to support efforts to end FGM.

Our Intervention

  • Developed and implemented a comprehensive digital strategy and communications work plan

  • Designed visual communication materials to promote the Hub’s guidance and tools

  • Provided full media coverage and live documentation for the first regional meeting of FGM Directorates

  • Produced a special edition of the Ideas that Matter newsletter highlighting the work and impact of the FGM Data Hub
